The Los Angeles book club is reading and discussing The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, by Mary Ann Shaffe and Annie Barrows. This novel, from an aunt-and-niece writing duo, follows a writer who starts receiving letters from a mysterious and eccentric group of people living on the island of Guernsey during the WWII German occupation. Lore Hilburg '73 will lead the discussion.
