At the September meeting of the Pasadena SCCLA Book Club, the group will be discussing A Tale for the Time Being, by Ruth Ozeki '80. Shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize, this novel reveals the entanglement between a depressed Japanese sixteen-year-old and an author on a remote island thousands of miles away.
