Celebrate the holiday season at the Smith College Club of Los Angeles's 2020 Holiday Soiree! This year we will be getting together virtually to  wish our local Smithie community happy and healthy holidays.

Schedule of Events

• 7:30 pm Holiday Soiree begins on Zoom

• Welcome by Club President and the evenings MC Kristin Matthews

• Live Cocktail Prep Demonstration (follow along at home with the recipe below!)

• Live Musical and Comedic Performances by Hillary Hawkins (Smithie), Maria Ciampa (Smithie '01), and Boston Magazine's 2020 Comedian of the Year, Bethany Van Delft

• Address by Club President

• Social Break-Out Rooms

• 8:30 pm End of Scheduled Events

• Zoom will stay open til 9 pm for Smithies who would like to continue to socialize with the larger group

Paradise Pom Cocktail - Follow along during the Soiree and make your own!

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 oz 100% pomegranate juice

• 1 oz vodka

• 1 oz ginger beer

Instructions

Add vodka and pomegranate juice to a cocktail glass filled with ice. Add ginger beer and stir. Garnish with rosemary, if you’d like.

Annual Endowed Scholarship Funds Opportunity Drawing - We won't have the Opportunity Drawing this year, but we have included an option to donate to the SCCLA Endowed and Spetnagel Scholarship Funds for the benefit of LA Smith students when you register.  

Zoom Link - The Zoom link for the Holiday Soiree will be in your confirmation email upon registration and will also be emailed with an event reminder before the start of the Soiree.
